SENIOR FREIGHT SALES EXECUTIVE

We are actively seeking a results-driven and experienced Senior Freight Sales Executive to lead our sales efforts in the UAE and Iraq regions. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and articulate the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Target potential clients through comprehensive lead-generation strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with key industry stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
- Develop and execute targeted prospecting campaigns to engage potential clients effectively.
2. Lead Conversion and Sales:
- Utilize various methods such as networking, cold calling, and advertising to generate interest from potential clients.
- Qualify leads to ensure alignment with company services and capabilities. Creation of lead pipeline and ensuring weekly and monthly follow-ups.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospects and negotiate deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline to track progress and prioritize opportunities effectively.
3. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and decision-makers in target markets or geographic areas.
- Gather market intelligence by interacting directly with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to refine and optimize the sales approach.
4. Client Relationship Management:
- Plan and prepare for sales visits, ensuring thorough knowledge of customer requirements and history.
- Present a comprehensive range of products, services, and technologies to both existing and prospective customers.
- Win new customers to achieve predefined sales targets set by the Commercial Manager.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in sales systems to facilitate effective communication and follow-up.
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and deliver solutions effectively.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide timely feedback to management through weekly progress reports and sales reports.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress, and outcomes to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
· Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry.
· Ability to establish genuine relationships with new and existing customers within the UAE.
· Experience in the Iraq market would be a plus.
· Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
· Eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates.
· Proven track record of lead generation, conversion, and meeting sales targets.
· Proficiency in INCOTERMS, transport legislation, and customs clearance.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
· Valid UAE driving license.
· Fluency in English is required, with good knowledge of Arabic preferred.
