Job duties and responsibilities
- Capable of working from tender packs and design drawings, fully understanding the specification and timescales of a job.
- Capable of preparing work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Capable of identifying labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Capable of computing costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Capable of presenting prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information as and when required.
- Capable of entering all material and labour requirements to produce estimates using specific software.
- Capable of preparing special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends and maintaining cost database by entering and backing up data.
- Proficient in understanding drawings and joinery technical issues.
Job qualifications/requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience working as an Estimator within a WELL EQUIPED Joinery Industry in any GCC countries.
- Preferably candidates with a B. Tech or B.E in Civil Engineering.
- Computer literate with good communication skills.
