Position Title: Financial Operations Associate
Location: Al Barsha 1, Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities:
· Record daily financial transactions including purchases (export & import invoices), bills, petty cash transactions, payment transactions, bank transactions, journal entries, purchase orders, stock transfers, and other regular entries.
· Conduct monthly closing of financial transactions and prepare comprehensive reports as requested, including prepayment schedules, provision schedules, and fixed asset register.
· Manage petty cash, including voucher preparation, cash receipt from drivers, routine transactions, and other transactions as instructed by the CEO.
· Perform bank statement reconciliation in Xero and handle payment processing, either online or by issuing cheques, while keeping suppliers informed of payment status.
· Process Special Transaction Lists (STL) as per CEO’s instructions.
· Monitor and handle cheques received from customers, and facilitate cheque handover to suppliers as required.
· Regularly check suppliers' Statements of Account (SOA) and prepare monthly salary sheets for processing via Salary portal.
· Conduct monthly and quarterly VAT transaction reviews and prepare cost sheets as per CEO’s requirements.
· Prepare documents for auditing as requested by auditing firm during auditing periods.
· Conduct month-end stock taking and adjustments in DEAR System, ensuring accuracy in purchase entries, sales fulfillments, and credit notes.
· Generate reports such as cash budget and budgeted Profit & Loss (P&L) statements as required by CEO and auditing firm.
· Reconcile petty cash transactions of drivers and office, as well as Payment Link App transactions with the help of Accounts Assistant on a monthly basis.
· Assist or provide instructions to Accounts Assistant in their duties as required.
· Attend meetings, online and face-to-face, as required by internal and external stakeholders.
· Furnish documents and reports required by banks or other parties based on CEO’s instructions.
· Ensure reconciliation between DEAR & Xero systems, taking necessary steps and coordinating with colleagues if required.
· Coordinate with auditing firm for queries, requests, and instructions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
· Proven experience in financial operations or a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and DEAR System.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
· Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
