Job Opportunity for Commercial Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote and sell shipping products, with a focus on logistics and transportation solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and business opportunities, leveraging networking and relationship-building techniques.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms that align with company objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, tracking progress against targets and objectives.
- Provide training and support to sales team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record (2 years) in sales and business development, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics and shipping products, including transportation solutions and supply chain management.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets.
- Familiarity with MS Office and CRM software; knowledge of shipping industry software is advantageous.
- Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
