§ In the role of Vessel Charter Lead you will lead the vessel charter team consisting out of 2 to 3 vessel charter coordinators/officers.
§ The Vessel Charter Lead must be able to work in a coordinating capacity relevant to the daily technical, commercial and administrative matters associated with the chartered vessels.
§ This person will work closely with other Logistic team members and other JDN personnel from other departments and report to the Logistics Manager.
§ Liaise with the project team including other departments (i.e. Operations, Crew Department, Technical Department, etc), vessel crew, clients, subcontractors, third parties and authorities.
§ Develop processes to improve the quality and efficiency within the department.
§ Train and coach team members
§ Day to day follow-up of the chartered vessels
§ Develop and adjust the reporting and invoicing system between the ship owners and JDN
§ Liaise with clients and vessel(s) owners regarding operational matters.
Liaise with Project and Operations to establish requirements and provide assistance if possible.
§ Interface between JDN Logistics department and other JDN departments (Project Controls, Operations, HSE, Contracts)
§ Assist with other items if required such as:
o Coordinate vessel inspections with marine/permit, operational, technical, survey and HSE department.
o Claim management
Assist logistics team with other tasks where required
