One of the reputed University in Bahrain invites applicants for the position of Associate Professor in Logistics/Supply chain Management.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting high-quality teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
- Engaging in rigorous research activities, including publishing in indexed Journals (SCOPUS) and academic journals/books, with a focus on international publications for at least 5 years post-PhD completion.
- Supervising and advising master’s or bachelor’s degree students, providing guidance and support in their academic and professional development.
- Contributing to academic and administrative tasks within the department and university, demonstrating leadership and collaborative skills.
- Utilizing innovative teaching methodologies such as problem-based learning and project-based learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Participating actively in academically recognized events, research projects, and scholarly activities of academic societies to enhance the academic reputation of the institution.
- Upholding university policies for teaching excellence and contributing to a vibrant academic community as a passionate team player.
Requirements:
- PhD in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the university level post-PhD completion.
- Demonstrated expertise and equivalent work-related experience in the field of Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
- Proven track record of international publications in indexed Journals (SCOPUS) and academic journals/books relevant to the field.
- Experience in supervising master’s or bachelor’s degree students and contributing to academic and administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in various teaching methodologies.
- Active participation in academically recognized events, research projects, and scholarly activities of academic societies.
- Commitment to university policies for teaching excellence and a collaborative approach to enhancing the education, research, and student experience profile of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences.
