We are looking for a freelance Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer who will be responsible to ensure the quality and excellence of interior projects in Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections at various stages of interior projects, including material procurement, installation, and final handover.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and document any deviations, defects, or non-conformities during inspections, and work proactively to address and resolve them.
- Perform testing and analysis of materials and finishes to verify compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, test results, and quality documentation for each project.
- Provide guidance and training to site personnel on quality control processes, best practices, and safety protocols.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits to ensure that quality objectives are met and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Previous experience in quality assurance/quality control roles within the construction or interior design industry.
- Strong knowledge of interior construction materials, finishes, and installation methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues and discrepancies.
