One of the reputed University in Saudi Arabia invites applicants for the position of Lecturer/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Computer Engineering.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to school and faculty policy and practice in teaching.
- Participate in course and program design, development, and planning.
- Review courses and programs, ensuring assessment, quality assurance, and enhancement.
- Develop innovative approaches to learning and teaching.
- Provide timely feedback and assessment of coursework and examinations.
- Support and guide students, resolving issues and referring to specialists when necessary.
- Maintain scholarly or professional development activities and stay updated with field developments.
- Participate in student advisement.
- Represent the institution and faculty on appropriate committees and groups.
- Contribute to management and administrative processes.
- Participate in major initiatives or areas of work facilitating school, faculty, or college performance.
- Assist in recruitment, management, development, and mentoring of colleagues.
- Perform other duties as requested by higher authorities.
Qualifications & Experience (Required):
- Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited, reputable Western university.
- Master's degree with good teaching experience may be considered, especially in teaching freshman and sophomore courses and laboratory modules.
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience after the terminal degree with good research experience, including publications in international Journals and Conferences.
- Industrial experience and previous experience in the Middle East or GCC countries is a plus.
- Excellent command of the English Language and familiarity with technology-infused academic environments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required):
- Research interest and experience in VLSI/FPGA Design, Microprocessors/Microcontroller, Embedded Systems, and Robotics.
