Job Description
A leading Business Group in Kingdom of Bahrain is looking for a candidate with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a Constructions/ Engineering Industry. Must be an Accounting Graduate with CA Inter or ICWA Inter Qualification.
The ideal candidate must have
- Experience in General Accounting, Project & Contracts Accounting.
- Knowledge of Commercial Aspects such as LC, LG & Various insurance Products
- Preparation of Budgets.
- MIS reports, Cash Flow & Fund Flow Statements on monthly basis.
- Reconciliation of Bank Accounts & handling banking transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as and when required for Senior Management
- Monitor inflow and outflow of funds and take adequate measures to ensure optimum utilization of available funds.
- Preparing various Analysis reports for Management Decision Making (i.e. Various Cost & Profit Centre Reports for controlling the Costs and analyzing profitability.
- To oversee accounting procedures performed by accountants in the preparation of vouchers, payments, journals, bank reconciliation and receipts.
- Verification and validation of all accounting transactions.
- Ensure adequate controls are in place to safeguard the company assets.
- Handle internal and external audit, GL scrutiny and corrective actions.
- Experience on VAT, monthly return filing, scrutiny of the invoices for VAT applicability.
- Follow up with the customers for payment,
- Follow up and co-ordination with the project team for monthly invoice certification, collections.
- Review tender costing and negotiating payment terms with the customers along with the sales.
- Monitor project costing, timely reporting to all stake holders for cost movement and its impact on the project.
- SAP experience and having knowledge for project accounting, WIP, deferred cost and provision accounting.
- Co-ordinate corporate finance and inter-companies for all financial and commercial matters of the division
