Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Graduate Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on involvement in ADDC (Abu Dhabi Distribution Company) projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction of new substations and refurbishment of existing switchgears, capacitor banks, DC systems, protection systems, BCPU, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction of new substations and refurbishment projects, ensuring adherence to ADDC standards and regulations.
- Coordinate shutdown works with ADDC and OEMs, demonstrating strong project management skills.
- Provide technical expertise on various electrical equipment such as switchgears, capacitor banks, DC systems, and protection systems.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in ADDC projects, with a focus on substation construction and refurbishment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical equipment and systems.
- Demonstrated management capability, with experience coordinating shutdown works and managing project timelines.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Preferable competency certification from ADDC for equipment up to 33 KV.
