Position: Advanced NDT Technician (Acoustic emissions) with English.
Available positions: 3
Place: opportunities for Dubai office (travelling to clients sites to perform the projects on field work).
Availability to travel: Approx. 30% - 40% (EMEA, LATAM and US).
Availability of incorporation: immediate (we can study applications for incorporation in June)
Responsibilities
Carry out Advanced NDT Inspection of pipelines, vessels and tanks in compliance with Company and Client procedures, incl. for field works and technical reports.
Prepare NDT Technique sheets and scan plans.
Review inspection reports, isometrics, pipes, vessel general arrangements and P&ID drawings. Prepare inspection reports and conclusions.
Manage and report on the status of all in progress inspection and integrity activities on the site.
Maintain up to date knowledge of innovative NDT techniques.
Control the AE and UT Equipment.
HSEQ procedures. Be aware of, and understand your HSEQ responsibilities relevant to your role. Work in accordance with your departmental HSEQ and customer´s procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Mandatory
Ability to work with Acoustic Emissions AE and ultrasonic testing UT.
Knowledge of technological diagnostic processes for AE and UT.
Experience in using a PC, proficiency in Microsoft Office, CorelDRAW, AutoCad or other similar applications. Capable to convert drawings into 3D modeling for vessels and pipes.
Knowledge of English is a mandatory.
Availabity to travel 30% - 40% of the time.
Driving license.
JOB REQUIREMENTS Desirable
Ability to work with PCN Phased Array/ ToFD / LRUT / RMS / Radiography/ MPI / DPI (a mixure of)
IRATA Level I or greater.
Knowledge of technological diagnostic processes for other types of non-destructive testing (NDT).
Education: higher technical. Experience in field work at customer sites in diagnosing technical device objects - 1 year.
Knowledge of other European language is a plus.
We have projects OnShore and OffShore, if you already have BOSIET, OPITO and other certifications you have an advantage, if not we will help you to obtain the appropriate certifications for each project.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Full working day from 9:00 to 18:00 (8hrs per day). 30% - 40% field work on Customer´s sites abroad in EMEA -LATAM with flexible working hours.
