We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Boat Captain with relevant experience and qualifications to operate as a Captain for vessels below 100 GRT, specifically in the capacity of a small vessel crew boat. The successful candidate must possess a valid certificate, safety training, and a verified Certificate of Competency (COC) for UAE endorsement. Additionally, proficiency in English communication is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and navigate the crew boat safely and efficiently within Fujairah Port's anchorage services area.
* Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on the vessel and its equipment to ensure seaworthiness.
* Manage and supervise the crew members on board, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
* Coordinate with port authorities, clients, and other vessels as necessary to facilitate smooth operations.
* Maintain accurate records of voyages, cargo, crew, and any incidents or emergencies that may occur.
* Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies, including medical emergencies or distress signals.
* Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service while interacting with clients and stakeholders
