Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in electrical system design, regulations, and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of experience in the field, with a focus on design for 5-8 years. Prior experience in construction projects and working with consultancy firms is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of all electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop detailed electrical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
- Collaborate closely with architects, clients, consultants, and contractors to understand project requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.
- Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments to gather essential information for design development and coordination with other building systems.
- Evaluate technical submittals, shop drawings, and material selections related to electrical and ELV systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
- Provide expert technical support during the construction phase, addressing RFIs (Requests for Information) and conducting site inspections as required.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers within the electrical team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering and ELV systems design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with 5-8 years focused on design.
- Strong expertise in all aspects of electrical system design, including power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical regulations, codes, and standards.
- Prior experience in construction projects and working with consultancy firms is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
