ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Location: Saudi Arabia
Position Type: Full-time
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience, such as Open (Combined) cycle power station, Seawater Desalination, Waste water treatment Substation, PV, BESS, ICE, Wind Farm, Geothermal project.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified BIM Manager/Senior Design Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in BIM-driven design and documentation, proficient in Autodesk software suite including Revit and Civil 3D, and familiar with Navisworks, BIM 360 for coordination and management. Knowledge of Synchro 4D and ArcGIS is preferred, and international BIM project experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the engineering management or bidding work of one or more projects.
- Responsible for the equipment technical management of one or more projects,
- Responsible for work summary and experience feedback of the project.
- Responsible for decomposing the electrical part of the EPC technical contract to ensure that the design meets the requirements of the EPC contract;
- Responsible for the review of technical specifications and proposals in the bidding process of electrical equipment;
- Responsible for the electrical design management of the multi- projects;
- Responsible for the electrical design interface management of the project;
- Organize the review of electrical drawings, and supervise the revision and improvement;
- Responsible for the coordination of electrical technology with owner and consulting company.
- Responsible for the coordination of the technical cooperation between the designer and the supplier, and the cooperation of the input data between the equipment and the design interface;
- Responsible for organizing electrical design meeting ;
- Assist relevant departments to coordinate and supervise the progress of electrical design drawings;
- Responsible for compiling technical changes of electrical equipment ordering contract;
- Review and solve changes in electrical design;
- Responsible for recording, sorting and saving engineering technical data
- Responsible for the clarification and evaluation of the bidding process of electrical equipment.
- Responsible for signing technical agreements of electrical equipment.
- Responsible for coordinating the design input collection of electrical equipment manufacturers.
- Organize the review of electrical vendor's drawings (excluding commissioning, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.).
- Coordinate with electrical equipment manufacturers to deal with technical issue.
- Coordinate with site team to deal with technical issue.
- Record and sort out the project electrical technical data;
- Summarizing and analyzing the electrical technology of the project;
- Feedback of electrical experience in project implementation;
- Electrical system research
- Electrical equipment technical research.
Skills & Expertise:
- Well-versed with related International Engineering and Construction Codes and Standards, including IEC,IEEE, Saudi Aramco, SEC standard,. etc
- Ability to edit and guide the claim report to client and counterclaim report to subcontractors.
- Understanding of Electrical primary system, secondary system, protection system & review in totality along with the necessary resolution for all the clashes and inconsistencies found.
- Ability to quickly assess and make recommendations (rapid problem solving) for any relevant subject matter.
- Experience in Developing the SLDs & electrical calculation reports during the design stage.
- Experience to manage and prepare the Bill of quantity, providing input for the project schedule & resource requirements and support to the site team.
- Client experience includes major clients like Saudi Aramco, ACWA, Masdar, SEC, SWCC, DEWA, would be preferred.
- Have good experience and communication skills to liaise with fabrication parties, subcontractors, clients or the third party. Have coordination skills to organize and arrange engineering work and handle interface issues.
- Excellent skills in all aspects of business management including contract management, monitor management, risk identification, etc.
