Job Description

OVERVIEW: As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all our products and services across various locations in the UAE. Your role will involve ensuring the optimal functionality and performance of these machines, thereby contributing to seamless customer experiences and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Attested bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated machines, preferably in the parking, banking, or ticketing industry.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, with strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software components.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders including government employees, clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid UAE driving license is a mandatory requirement
  • Proficient in English (reading, speaking, and writing)
  • Owns a car (preferable)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Installation and Setup:

  • Install and configure machines and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and site requirements.
  • Conduct initial testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality post-installation.

Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, inspection, and calibration to prevent issues and prolong machine lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, both hardware and software-related, promptly and efficiently.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted service.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct regular quality checks to verify the accuracy and reliability of machine operations, adherence to regulatory standards, and compliance with security protocols.
  • Address any discrepancies or deficiencies identified during quality assessments promptly and effectively.

Customer Support:

  • Provide technical support to customers and end-users, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on machine usage.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, resolving concerns and inquiries in a timely manner to maintain positive relationships.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including service reports, inventory logs, and equipment documentation.
  • Generate reports detailing findings, actions taken, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
