We have an urgent requirement for Business IT Project Manager - IT Applications and SAP for an Oil & Gas client in Abu Dhabi , UAE
We are looking IT Applications side PM ---business related projects involving payments, CRM and definitely ERP... preferably SAP or Oracle
We are not looking for production planning resources ; we are looking for pure business IT Project manager.
Functions of IT Project Manager
1. Implementation of IT projects within the organization.
2. Domain specific knowledge in one or more of the following: ANPR technology, Wallet and Retail payments projects, Mobile App and Loyalty development, SAP, Salesforce, Oil & Gas IT projects, Vehicle inspection Digitalization, Fleet management, EV charging, Content management solution, Queue management.
Job Description
1. Ensure Project is delivered on time and within budget, meeting agreed scope and quality criteria
2. project planning and project implementation aligned with the organization’s standards and policies.
3. Responsible for coordinating timely project meetings, producing meetings minutes, and following up on any necessary action items
4. Engage in consistent communication with the engineering team as well as the business units with respect to the status of the project
5. Create and maintain project documents in various capacities (including technical specifications)
6. Manage project scheduling, tracking issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting throughout the project lifecycle Creating IT project budgets
7. Maintain project management artefacts (Project Charter, Project Management Plan, Regular reporting, Risks & Issues Logs, Lessons learnt and Post Implementation Review)
8. Manage the project requirements, Scope of Work
9. Provide regular and up-to-date status reports to stakeholders (including reporting tools)
10. Perform duties of Scrum Master when required (Agile PM ability)
11. Manage procurement for project within vendor management processes
12. Ensure the Infrastructure, Network, Reporting and other project dependencies are managed
13. Ensure handover to support is undertaken with relevant Acceptance Sign-off
14. Conduct regular Steering Committee meetings
Project Management Capability improvement
1. Regularly conduct internal and external project reviews and work to improve processes
2. Work closely and consistently to refine automated workflows and improve/support project management tools
Qualifications
1. BSc Information Technology, BTech or equivalent plus minimum 10 years’ experience in IT projects
2. PMP Certified
3. SAFe certified or equivalent AGILE certification
