Job duties and responsibilities
- Capable of reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan the layout and procedures.
- Measure, cut, gouge, install, & manipulate stainless steel fabrication and install as required.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, materials, & deadlines throughout the project.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
- Capable of assessing welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
- Capable of making sure the welded surface is grinded perfectly and the welded portion will not affect the roll forming areas.
- Capable of setting up components for welding according to the specifications.
Job qualifications/requirements
- 2 – 2 ½ years of proven experience working as an Arc welding technician in any GCC country.
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (e.g. saws, squares, calipers etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (e.g. face-shield, gloves etc.).
