Position: Interior Designer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and objectives.
- Develop creative and practical design concepts that align with client preferences and project requirements.
- Create detailed interior design plans, including space layouts, furniture arrangements, and material selections.
- Source and specify furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and accessories to complete the design.
- Produce visualizations and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively to clients.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project implementation.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and timeline, and address any issues or challenges that arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continually enhance design capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
- Proven experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as 3ds Max, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Advanced rendering software options like Revit, Lumion, and Enscape
- Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability principles is a plus.
