Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Nurse at our Rabie branch in Riyadh.
As an ALEEF veterinary nurse you will assist our dedicated veterinarians in providing comprehensive care for our clients. Your responsibilities include conducting health screenings, administering treatments, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring the overall well-being of animals under their care. Veterinary nurses play a crucial role in promoting responsible pet ownership and maintaining animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

Conducting Screening Procedures:

• Perform auscultation and sample procurement to assess animal health.
• Monitor vital signs and collect relevant data.

Administering Treatments:

• Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations.
• Follow treatment protocols as directed by veterinarians.

Surgical Assistance:

• Prepare surgical sites and assist during surgical procedures.
• Maintain surgical rooms and disinfect medical equipment.

Animal Care and Support:

• Provide emotional support to distressed animals.
• Educate pet owners on routine and specialized care procedures.

Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in veterinary nursing or a similar field.

Experience:

• Demonstrable experience as a veterinary nurse.
• Ideal if experienced in animal-centered advocacy programs.

Skills:

• Knowledgeable about responsible quarantine procedures.
• Proficient in surgical etiquette.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Compassionate and thoughtful about animals’ well-being.
