Job Title: WordPress Developer Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Website Enhancement: Identify areas for improvement on the Easy Sell Buy Car Craft website and propose and implement enhancements to improve user experience, functionality, and overall performance.
- Custom Feature Development: Develop custom features and functionalities using coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to meet the specific needs and requirements of the website.
- Plugin Integration: Research, select, and integrate new WordPress plugins as needed to add new features or enhance existing ones, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize the website for speed, performance, and scalability, implementing caching mechanisms, optimizing images and scripts, and minimizing server response times.
- User Interface (UI) & User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate with the design team to improve the UI/UX design of the website, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for visitors.
- SEO Enhancement: Implement advanced SEO techniques and strategies to improve search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and enhance overall visibility of the website.
- Mobile Optimization: Ensure the website is fully optimized for mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, by implementing responsive design principles and mobile-specific optimizations.
- Security Enhancements: Enhance website security by implementing additional security measures, such as two-factor authentication, HTTPS encryption, and regular security audits.
- Analytics & Reporting: Set up and configure web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track and analyze website performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development and web design, and proactively suggest innovative ideas and solutions for website improvement.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization and custom feature development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a proven track record of developing custom solutions.
- Excellent understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience collaborating with design teams.
- Deep knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques for improving website visibility and ranking.
- Experience optimizing websites for performance, including mobile optimization and page speed optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications or training in WordPress development or web design are a plus.
