Job Description
Gargash Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our dynamic team. As an EMT at Gargash Hospital, you will play a crucial role in delivering immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, assess patient conditions, and provide essential life support.
- Administer appropriate medical interventions, such as CPR, oxygen therapy, hemorrhage control, and wound care.
- Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including defibrillators, oxygen delivery systems, and patient monitoring devices.
- Safely transport patients to the hospital, ensuring their comfort and well-being during transit.
- Accurately document patient information, medical interventions, and observations for continuity of care.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including paramedics, nurses, and physicians, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid EMT certification from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience as an EMT in a hospital or pre-hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical protocols, procedures, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry patients.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Should have DCAS license as Emergency Medical Technician.
