The School of Engineering and Sustainable Development, one of the most research-intensive units within the University, equips students with the skills and specialist knowledge to solve real-world problems. Role The role of Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and Energy is required to teach modules in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, marking of assessments, personal tutoring and project supervision. As well as contribute to relevant programme management. The role of Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering will be the same as above, with the addition of leading and developing the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, developing new content, set assignments and have a responsibility for research. An essential part of the role will be contributing to the success and development of the faculty. Ideal Candidate You will have a postgraduate degree and ideally a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. You will have experience in teaching in Mechanical Engineering and Energy or a closely related discipline. You will be highly qualified and a strong understanding of the subject area. You will have a positive attitude, good communication skills and commitment to further develop our identity and explore new opportunities for growth.
