About the Role
This is a full-time role for a Remediation Site Supervisor located in Ahmadi. As Site Remediation Supervisor you will oversee all aspects of remediation activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining project timelines, and managing onsite personnel effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (i.e., environment, civil, chemical), or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental remediation, preferably on contaminated land or soil remediation projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting requirements, with experience navigating regulatory processes.
- Proven experience managing remediation projects from start to finish, including budgeting, planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage onsite personnel and interact with stakeholders.
- Experience with soil sampling and characterization techniques, including field instrumentation and laboratory analysis.
- Must have valid residency in Kuwait.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise remediation activities at project sites, including excavation, soil treatment, and waste disposal.
- Develop and implement remediation plans in accordance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and ensure proper characterization of contaminated soil.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards are met.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and vendors as needed for project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to onsite personnel, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and regulatory compliance records.
- Communicate effectively with project consultants, clients, regulatory agencies, and internal team members.
