Job duties and responsibilities
- Receives, Issues, inspects documents and retrieves materials in warehouse.
- Coordinate material loading operations.
- Receipt and inspection of all fabricated items as per CLIENT drawing from construction department. (Example: Spools, Support, Frames, Gratings, etc.)
- Checking safe working load of CCA’s before dispatching offshore and make sure Load must be less within in the safe working load of outline or facility crane.
- Manifest documentation quality.
- Released goods issue slip/picking list for physical issuance of materials.
- Packing materials as per the work order/picking list.
- Ensured that overages, shortages, or damaged items are identified and immediately reported.
- Dispatch of packed materials to offshore in suitable lifting appliances.
- Recovery of both used and unused materials from offshore.
- Performing monthly audits with Materialsman for proper stock levels, reconciling with Issues and Receiving department.
- Follow up the reorder of materials through Oracle system.
- Proper coordination with other co-workers at the Operations and Warehouse for smooth handling of activities.
- Maintain the store filing and record keeping.
- Completes all activities in accordance with Company safety procedures following all safety instructions and notices and always wearing protective equipment.
- Participates in Company safety observation programs.
Job requirements/qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Warehouse Clerk within the Oil and Gas industry in any GCC country.
- Preferably candidates with completion of secondary education (10th Pass).
- Should be fluent in English (Both Oral and Written).
- Candidates should be computer literate (Microsoft Office) and should possess basic knowledge in Oracle software.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
- Ability to work under Pressure to meet Urgent/Critical material requirements from various locations within Company and should be ready to do intense physical work under varied weather conditions.
