Job Description
The Senior Technical Manager in construction is responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership throughout all phases of construction projects. They collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, building codes, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams from pre-construction through project completion. Review and approve construction documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent and industry standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure construction activities meet established quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations from specifications or quality requirements.
- Construction Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop comprehensive construction plans, schedules, and budgets. Participate in project planning meetings to identify potential technical challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications. Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to construction projects. Ensure all construction activities comply with regulatory requirements and obtain necessary permits and approvals as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and hazards associated with construction activities and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions and liabilities. Implement safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for all project personnel.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to project teams to resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and construction challenges in a timely and cost-effective manner. Coordinate with design professionals and consultants to address technical inquiries and revisions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and correspondence. Prepare regular progress reports, technical memos, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 Year of High-Rise Building Experience
- 05 Years of Highrise Building Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant Field
- immediate joiners are preferred
