EVENTS & CATERING MANAGER – BAHRAIN!

We have been retained by a high-profile client and who are now looking to strengthen the team by taking on an experienced Events & Catering Manager.

This Events & Catering Manager role will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of event & catering services. You will be the the liaison between the client, sales team, food & beverage department and the operational staff to ensure the seamless execution of events.

The Key Focus Area of this position and Primary deployment is centred around Weddings, Social and private Events, VIP Diners, including galas, ceremonies, graduations, anniversaries, etc.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in catering and event planning field / luxury hotel background in a similar role
  • Preference given to Arabic speakers but dependent upon experience & contacts
  • Ideally to have experience and a network of contacts in Bahrain
  • Excellent personal computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office software and at least

1 year experience with Delph, Opera and/or comparable convention management

software.

  • Possess above average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Must be flexible and able to travel as required

Salary Package Offered: BD2000 pm(negotiable for right individual) plus bonus, medical, yearly flights etc
