Position: Accountant (Building Contracting Industry)

Location: Business Bay, Dubai UAE

Salary: AED 3000 - AED 4000

Language: English and Arabic

Job Description:

As an Accountant at KEA Building Contracting, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations related to building contracting projects and you must possess excellent time management and multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory compliance in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, costs, and financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to monitor and control project finances.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience in the Building Contracting industry in the UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE taxation laws and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks ) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
