- Mortgage Advisor is the point of contact with the Mortgage sales Leads, our clients, Banks and PSI Support departments while executing and achieving mortgage department sales target.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
A) Mortgage Operation:
01. Identify strong potential prospects using initiative and creativity, to generate lead opportunities.
02. Confidently participate in the preparation of proposals and presentation of professional product demonstrations and face to face meetings.
03. Sourcing and attracting the right prospect from the market to convert him to a mortgage buyer.
04. Provide high quality professional independent mortgage advice and explain different types of mortgages available.
05. Maintain Generic knowledge of the financial services industry and knowledge that is deemed necessary.
06. Determine clients’ needs and financials abilities to propose solutions that suit them
07. Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements and related matters, ensuring a fair and honest dealing
08. Understand customer requirements, advice and propose effective mortgaging solutions to cater to their investment goals.
09. Conduct end to end mortgage registration of potential client by collecting documents, analyzing financial credibility, preparing analysis report, and executing mortgage pay out.
10. Follow up with bank to stay abreast of latest updates in policies and procedures.
11. Conduct market research to monitor mortgage market and keep abreast of competitive market rates to serve clients in best way possible.
12. Ensure regulatory compliance are adhered too in executing mortgage transactions.
13. Collating and preparing documents such as clients’ financial documents, banks forms, KYC and any other documents required.
14. Ensures efficient delivery of properties and services to clients.
15. Use given system access for all transactions, leads of transactions, and updates through regular reporting.
B) Mortgage Reporting:
01. Daily report of the Number of calls, meetings done, leads assigned and their update and potential buyers.
02. Sales Report being generated on a daily basis on signed deals.
03. Weekly sales lead generation sources report that includes leads updates.
04. Monthly report that presents the monthly achievement vs. the target.
C) General:
01. Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring “safe systems of work” and “safe conditions” are in place within area of responsibility.
02. Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPIERENCE
A Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degrees in finance or a relevant field.
B Experience:
2+ years of relevant work experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker, preferably in a banking sector.
C Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of banking mortgage or real estate brokerage services, terminologies, procedures and processes.
Excels working under pressure; ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and quality assurance ability.
Flawless and brief communication and presentation skills, verbal and written.
High negotiating skills (both verbal and written).
