Role Summary
Provide oversight and surveillance of all Piping activities at site during scheduled and unscheduled inspection assuring that client policy and procedures regarding installation and quality are implemented throughout the project.

Accountabilities
Ensure that all Piping construction contractors’ supervision and manpower are instructed in and comply with all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Security (HSES) policy, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and Client requirements
Ensure that Piping construction contractors working within the discipline adhere strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, Specifications, ITP’s, Procedures and Site Instructions.
Responsible for monitoring discipline and timekeeping of contractors’ staff and labor in a defined work area, identifying any disciplinary action required, and informing the relevant Discipline Superintendent
Be fully familiar with the Subcontractors methods of fabrication/construction, schedule and procedure
Ensure Contractor / Subcontractor produces appropriate execution documents in a timely manner and monitor approval / compliance
Monitor progress and performance of the Fabrication Subcontractor to ensure that he performs to the approved schedule, specification and standards
Review look ahead schedules & ensure future work / discipline / interface issues are communicated and resolved
Carry out inspection, surveillance witnessing of Fabrication Subcontractor activities, ensuring records are maintained, including as-built data
Prepare and/or endorse daily progress report and time sheets. Detailing the work progress, number of Fabrication Subcontractor personnel and equipment available on site and other related items identified in the scope of work
Ensure that a risk assessment has been undertaken and agreed prior to commencement of any new type of work activity
Review and monitor the availability of drawings, specifications, job instructions, material deliveries and tools applicable to his / her discipline and area of workIn conjunction with the contractors’ supervision, planning engineers, and the Wood
Construction Engineer, develop detailed daily and weekly work plans in accordance with the overall planning schedule
Reports directly to Piping Lead
Qualifications and Experience
Familiarisation with DNV and Norsk standards
Experience on FPSO Preferred
Experience working within international workforce
Has considerable experience of supervising Construction staff to achieve effective construction execution
Solid piping experience with direct supervision of subcontractor
More than 10 years’ experience as a supervisor for piping and mechanical works in a construction site preferably with FPSO experience.
Extensive experience in similar position of O&G industry or related construction industry
English – fluent written and verbal skills.
