Job Description:
Precon Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced CARPENTRY SUPERVISOR to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8-9 years of relevant experience and must currently reside in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise a team of carpenters by assigning tasks, scheduling work, and ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently to meet project deadlines.
2. Conduct regular quality compliance inspections and ensure that all carpentry work meets quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
3. Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe work environment for all team members.
4. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
5. Oversee the procurement and inventory management of carpentry materials and supplies.
6. Identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise during carpentry projects, such as design changes, material shortages, or technical difficulties.
Requirements:
· Diploma or relevant certifications or training in carpentry, construction management, or related fields (preferred).
· Proven experience as a carpenter, with at least 5-6 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
· In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.
· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
· Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
