Job Description:
Precon Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced CARPENTRY FOREMAN to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of relevant experience and must currently reside in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead carpentry crews, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
2. Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe work environment for all team members.
3. Ensure that all carpentry work meets quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
4. Coordinate carpentry activities with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration within the overall project schedule.
5. Identify issues or challenges that arise during carpentry projects, such as design changes, material shortages, or logistical issues and implement corrective actions in coordination with supervisor/s.
Requirements:
· Relevant certifications or training in carpentry, construction management, or related fields (preferred).
· Proven experience in carpentry, with at least 5-6 year of experience in a leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, processes, and safety standards.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
· Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
