We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contract Assistant .

Job Description:

  • Assists user departments in preparation of contract requests, compiling scope of work and in ERP.
  • Maintains standard formats of tendering process and assist all concerned in the proper utilization of formats.
  • Maintains database of contractors, update the same as required.
  • Assist with the handling of tender bonds, performance bonds, updating records and liaise with bidders for non-submission/non-compliance, liaise with FD on safe keeping of performance bond, and correspondence with regards t/return of the same.
  • Copying of bids, transmission of bids for technical evaluation.
  • Assist the department with commercial evaluation, preparation of detailed bid evaluation and summary.
  • Maintains the database of renewable (Term) agreements and issues contract expiry notifications to User departments on a monthly basis.
  • Review and prepare change orders, variations for Approvals.
  • Assist sponsoring department to Evaluate all variations, claims, change orders or concession requests with the contractor, and prepare submission to the concerned for approval.
  • Maintain Change Order Log for all projects.
  • Prepare and administer the issue and control of all Service Orders, Minor Works Contracts, and prepare Variations to Contract for signing by Contract parties.
  • Update the computerized “Contract Information System” on a daily basis with the progress achieved on the ongoing contracts.

*Salary Range:* QAR 8-9 k per month full package.
