We are seeking a qualified General Manager for one of our clients in Muscat, Oman. A high-level job description is as outlined below.


Our client is a pioneer in the electronics industry into special projects division, designing and implementation of high-end electronic low-voltage turnkey solutions in areas as diverse as broadcast services, Security Management Systems, Audio Visual Solutions, IPTV systems, conference room solutions, home automation and indoor & outdoor digital signage solutions.  Their portfolio also includes dealerships of renowned brands like JVC and Bose.

Role and Context:

Purpose:

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated professional to serve as the General Manager for our client in Muscat. GM will use his or her experience to help manage the organizational strategy, budget, and associate experience of the Technology Operations department.

This role reports to the Group General Manager (GGM) and CEO. In this role you will be closely working with the GM’s of the Technology Cluster on potential opportunities, and looking to add additional products or services to the portfolio of our client

Summary of the Job Role:

• Strong track record leading a sales and delivery team, ensures continuous improvement of teams.

• Serves as a leader for any ad hoc business requests. Leads special projects of significant importance for the business unit.

• Identifies, prioritizes, and leads efforts to improve processes

• Responsible for directing resource allocation in the support of long-term projections. Collaborates with key business partners, may provide input to the internal communications strategy at the team level within a larger business unit.


Relationships:

Internal: Maintaining good relationships with internal business teams/ of other technology cluster companies and support functions.

External: Maintaining good relationships with Customers and Partners.
