Job Description:
As an Insurance Manager, you will oversee our insurance operations, focusing on optimizing claims management processes and maintaining strong relationships with insurance providers. You will lead a team dedicated to handling all aspects of medical insurance, from claims processing to coordination with healthcare providers and insurers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement insurance policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage and supervise the insurance team, ensuring high performance and efficiency in claim processing and dispute resolution.
Liaise with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues.
Monitor claims activities, ensuring timely submission, follow-up, and appeal of denied claims.
Analyze trends in insurance claims to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic changes to increase revenue and decrease denials.
Prepare and review reports on department performance, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
Stay updated with changes in insurance regulations and policies in the healthcare sector.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within the insurance department of a hospital / clinic or healthcare facility.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare insurance policies, regulations, and claims processing.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications relevant to healthcare management or insurance.
Experience in the healthcare industry within United Arab Emirates.
