Construction Industry - High Rise Building Experience

Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified QA/QC Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction of high-rise buildings in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control plans to ensure that all construction activities comply with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans.
- Conduct inspections of all construction activities, including foundations, structural steel, concrete, facades, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
- Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings.
- Identify and document non-conformance issues and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Maintain accurate and complete inspection records and reports.
- Participate in construction meetings and provide updates on QA/QC activities.
- Work collaboratively with project engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant building codes and standards in Dubai.
- Utilize relevant software for data collection, reporting, and quality control documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA/QC for high-rise building construction projects.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing QA/QC plans.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Experience with relevant building codes and standards in Dubai (e.g., Dubai Municipality Building Code).
- Excellent understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and construction-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
