Job Description: Contracts Manager
**Location:** Abu Dhabi
**Experience:** Minimum 14+ years in Oil and Gas Projects
**Availability:** Immediate joiner preferred
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Contract Management:** Oversee all contract-related activities for oil and gas projects, with a specific focus on tank farm projects, including naphtha and crude tank projects.
- **Negotiation:** Lead contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring that all potential risks are addressed and managed effectively.
- **Documentation:** Prepare, review, and manage all contractual documents, including contract drafts, amendments, and extensions.
- **Compliance:** Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- **Dispute Resolution:** Handle any contract disputes or claims, working closely with legal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- **Reporting:** Generate regular reports on contract status, performance, and compliance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- **Team Leadership:** Manage a team of contract administrators and support staff, providing guidance and mentoring as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 14+ years of experience in contract management, specifically within oil and gas projects.
- Extensive experience with tank farm projects, particularly naphtha and crude tank projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex contracts in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contractual law, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard contract forms.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in contract management software and systems.
