We have an open role for Position Title_Site Procurement Officer - Hospitality with a well-established group in Riyadh, KSA.

The Site Procurement Officer for Hospitality Interiors is a pivotal role responsible for managing the procurement process of materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment required for interior design projects within the hospitality sector. Working closely with project managers, designers, and vendors, the Procurement Officer ensures timely sourcing, delivery, and quality of materials while adhering to project budgets and specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Planning: Collaborate with project teams to understand material requirements, timelines, and budget constraints. Develop comprehensive procurement plans outlining sourcing strategies and supplier selection criteria.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers capable of meeting project requirements. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
  • Material Sourcing: Source and procure materials, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment from approved vendors and manufacturers. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and trends to enhance project outcomes.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners. Communicate project requirements, expectations, and quality standards to ensure alignment and compliance throughout the procurement process.
  • Procurement Execution: Coordinate procurement activities, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and managing inventory levels. Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials to project sites.
  • Cost Management: Monitor procurement costs, budgets, and expenditures to optimize spending and mitigate risks. Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate discounts, and implement value engineering strategies to maximize project value.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure procured materials meet project specifications and industry standards. Conduct inspections, quality checks, and performance evaluations to uphold quality throughout the supply chain.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and disruptions in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets. Proactively address supply chain challenges to maintain continuity of operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, invoices, and correspondence. Generate reports on procurement performance, budget utilization, and inventory management to stakeholders as required.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies governing procurement activities. Stay informed about industry regulations, market trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the hospitality or interior design industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry trends, materials, and suppliers is advantageous.
