HSEQ management is an integral and essential part of our business. Monjasa holds a multi-site accreditation to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 since 2014, which includes all of our offices and operations in the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

You will join as our new Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Coordinator and will become part of a young and agile organisation with offices spread around the world. Thus, you will have the opportunity to form a network of engaged and skilled colleagues globally.

We navigate in a very dynamic and operational industry that calls for a curious mindset to e.g. take part in the journey with new alternative fuels and the certifications this includes.

Your primary tasks will involve supporting the Group HSEQ team by maintaining our existing accreditations, aligning practices with our HSEQ framework, and supporting the bunker trading business and our floating hotel operation (C-bed).

Areas of focus

  • Assist in development of periodic group and regional HSEQ performance reports and distribution.
  • Monitoring of HSEQ app and database for HSEQ events, observations, audits findings and feedback.
  • Manage, control and distribute HSEQ data and documentation.
  • Manage material safety data sheets (MSDS)
  • Perform HSEQ evaluation of suppliers
  • Support maintenance of Sustainability management system for alternative fuels and compliance to ISCC requirements.
  • Support the group’s working environment committees.
  • Support HSEQ team in planning, execution of campaigns and training programmes
  • Manage HSEQ shared inboxes
  • Provide administrative support to the group HSEQ team and other ad hoc tasks.

Your professional skills

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar or administrative role
  • Knowledge with the shipping and/or oil industry is an advantage
  • Experience as a user of Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and any other language is a plus.
  • HSEQ education and/or a technical or science background are a plus
  • NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable.
