Job duties and responsibilities
- Assisting the mechanical engineer with mechanical design and maintenance tasks.
- Capable of installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
- Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
- Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
- Capable of repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems and servicing of electrical automotive parts
- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
Job requirements/qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience working in a similar position in a Refinery, Oilfield or in a Petrochemical facility.
- Preferably candidates with Auto Electric experience.
- Skilled Tradesperson with an Industrial Trade Certificate or Diploma.
- Good knowledge of English (Speak, Read & Write).
