Job Description

  • Prepare and review cost estimates and budgets for MEP projects.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for MEP works.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids and contracts.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including tracking and reporting on cost variances.
  • Review and analyze MEP drawings and specifications for potential cost savings or value engineering opportunities.
  • Provide input and support to the project team on cost-related matters.
  • Prepare and submit progress payment applications and variations for client approval.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in tender evaluations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors on MEP cost-related matters.
