Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Relations/Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome, handling check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay or visit. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to guest satisfaction, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Reception:
  • Greet guests with a welcoming demeanor as they arrive and depart from the premises.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide information about hotel/venue facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Customer Service:
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns effectively, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and provide personalized service to enhance their experience.
  • Reservations and Bookings:
  • Manage room reservations and update booking information as needed.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guest occupancy.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain communication with other departments to coordinate guest services and resolve issues.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Maintain accurate guest records and information in the booking system.
  • Process payments, invoices, and receipts accurately.
  • Safety and Security:
  • Monitor the premises for security concerns and ensure guest safety.
  • Follow security procedures and protocols to protect guests, staff, and property.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience in a customer service or guest relations role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and office software (MS Office, booking systems).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Arabic speaker preferred
