Sr. Accountant (Receivable -) – FMCG
- Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts.
- MINIMUM TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum experience of 5+ years in the UAE especially in the FMCG accounts receivable.
- Strong mathematical skills and advanced/ excellent computer skill especially in the Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance
- Proficiency with JD or one of the commonly used accounting ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite
- Strong Communications, Leadership, Customer Service, and interpersonal Skill
- Valid UAE Driving License
- PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and initiate collection efforts.
- Review Credit Limit, Credit Terms and monitor customer movement on regular basis
- Obtaining information from the sales & marketing team to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
- Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and potential issues
- Reviewing KYC and creating customer code in ERP system .
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries of sales team
- Assist with month-end closing activities
