Sr. Accountant (Receivable -) FMCG


  • Objectives

  • Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts.

  • MINIMUM TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum experience of 5+ years in the UAE especially in the FMCG accounts receivable.
  • Strong mathematical skills and advanced/ excellent computer skill especially in the Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or finance
  • Proficiency with JD or one of the commonly used accounting ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite
  • Strong Communications, Leadership, Customer Service, and interpersonal Skill
  • Valid UAE Driving License

  • PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
  • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and initiate collection efforts.
  • Review Credit Limit, Credit Terms and monitor customer movement on regular basis
  • Obtaining information from the sales & marketing team to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
  • Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and potential issues
  • Reviewing KYC and creating customer code in ERP system .
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries of sales team
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
