About the Role

This is a full-time role of Secretary located in Kuwait City. As a Secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the department. You will provide clerical support to the assigned department through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. You will also responsible for handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma or secondary level graduate.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a department secretary or administrative.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Knowledge of contracting industry and processes is a plus; but not required.
  • Must have valid transferrable residency in Kuwait.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors and clients of the department in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence of the department, including mail, email, and faxes.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, and other documents as requested.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms for department members.
  • Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and organization of records.
  • Assist with data entry, typing, copying, scanning, and other clerical tasks as needed.
  • Assist with special projects, events, and other tasks as assigned by the department.
  • Provide other administrative support to the departments as required.
