Job Description
Customer Focus:
- Coordinate scheduling for export packing, shipment collection, and ensure smooth documentation, invoicing, and payment processes.
- Keep clients informed with shipment details, overseas partner information, and real-time tracking updates.
Export Expertise:
- Provide accurate pre-costing estimates for moves.
- Plan efficient loading arrangements, considering factors like groupage container volume.
- Collaborate with sales on space requirements and obtain management approval for loading plans.
- Negotiate and secure competitive rates with overseas agents for origin, destination, and even intermediary locations.
- Finalize shipment bookings with management after thorough rate comparisons and negotiations.
- Oversee all export shipments, including Full Container Load (FCL), Less Than Container Load (LCL), road, air, and groupage containers, to various global destinations.
Destination Service Procurement:
- Secure necessary services at the destination for all types of export shipments, including FCL, LCL, groupage, air, and road, ensuring a smooth delivery process.
Data-Driven Analysis:
- Generate periodic reports for management to analyze business performance across various metrics. These reports may include lead generation, shipment tonnage, reciprocity (balance of trade), sales bookings, monthly loading volume, and profitability of individual jobs.
