Duties

Note: All applicants must currently hold or be able to acquire a UAE residency visa to fill the position. For non-UAE national, the Mission assists in obtaining the required residency visa to lawfully work in the UAE. Ref. to Eligibility Question #2 and Vacancy Question #1: If a non-UAE national has a valid UAE residency visa, they should answer Yes to Eligibility Q#2 and Vacancy Q#1, and attach a copy of residency visa or both sides of Emirates ID.


Basic Function of the Position:


The incumbent is responsible for all American personnel programs at the Mission including but not limited to: Check-in/check-out processing; Travel Messages (TMs) for arriving/departing U.S. Direct Hire (USDH) staff; provides general guidance on accreditation (visas and diplomatic ID processing); advising American employees on matters relating to career development and personnel regulations; NSDD-38 procedures for new or existing USDH positions; maintaining files for American employees; managing recruitment program for Family Member Appointment (FMA), Seasonal Hires, When Actually Employed (WAE), Rovers, etc.; and managing the Duty officer program.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum three years in human resources or administrative field is required.

Education Requirements:

Completion of two years of general college studies is required.


Evaluations:

This may be tested.


Good working knowledge in English Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.
Good working knowledge in Arabic Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
