About the Position: A prestigious Qatari family is seeking an experienced Indian Chef/Cook with expertise in Arabic and Khaliji cuisine. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking, dedicated to providing high-quality meals, and capable of preparing a variety of dishes that cater to the family's tastes and dietary preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, including traditional Indian, Arabic, and Khaliji cuisine.
- Plan menus according to the family's preferences and dietary requirements.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Source and purchase fresh ingredients while managing kitchen inventory.
- Adapt and create new recipes to delight the family and their guests.
- Cater to special occasions and events as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef/Cook, specializing in Indian, Arabic, and Khaliji cuisine.
- Ability to prepare a variety of traditional and contemporary dishes.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent cooking skills with attention to detail and presentation.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
