Nair Systems is currently looking for IT System Administrator for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a corporate IT environment.
- Proficiency in administering Linux and Windows-based servers.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and oral communication & interpersonal skills (English)
Key Responsibilities: 1. System Administration:
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers (Red Hat 7 & and
- Windows servers (Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as software installations, updates,
- patches, and system backups.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts promptly to ensure maximum

- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and

- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data

4. Backup and Disaster Recovery:
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the
- event of system failures or data breaches.
- Perform regular backups of critical data and test recovery procedures to validate
- Perform periodical DR tests to confirm or to update the DR procedure.
- Participate in scheduled DR simulations.
