Position Overview:
WPPCo is currently seeking an accomplished and strategic Region Manager - Projects Director to provide leadership and oversight to our project portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a distinguished background in project management, a proven track record of successfully steering large-scale initiatives, and the ability to drive organizational growth through effective project management practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in project management, with a focus on Water Infrastructure.
- PMP is a Must
- Proven track record of successfully directing and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Experience in collaborating with the National Water Company (NWC) in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to align project management practices with organizational objectives.
- Portfolio Oversight: Provide leadership and direction to project managers and teams, ensuring successful execution of all projects within the portfolio.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and project partners.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources to projects, balancing workload and ensuring optimal utilization of talent.
- Risk Management: Implement robust risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential obstacles to project success.
- Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the finance department to manage and control project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to uphold industry standards and exceed client expectations.
- Reporting: Provide regular and comprehensive project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
