Job Description:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, management, and administration of our Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing, particularly in the areas of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) within Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Azure Deployment and Management:
- - Design, deploy, and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions
- - Configure and maintain virtual machines, virtual networks, and storage accounts
- - Implement and manage Azure Active Directory for identity and access management
- - Monitor and optimize Azure resource performance and costs
- - Ensure high availability and scalability of Azure resources
2. Disaster Recovery and Backup:
- - Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies for Azure workloads
- - Configure and manage Azure Site Recovery for failover and failback scenarios
- - Set up and manage Azure Backup for data protection and restoration
- - Regularly test and update disaster recovery and backup plans
3. Microsoft 365 Administration:
- - Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings
- - Configure and maintain Exchange Online for email services
- - Administer SharePoint Online for collaboration and document management
- - Manage Microsoft Teams for unified communication and collaboration
- - Implement and enforce security policies and best practices across the Microsoft 365 environment
4. Collaboration and Support:
- - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions
- - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure and Microsoft 365 related issues
- - Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft cloud technologies and best practices
- - Participate in knowledge sharing and documentation of processes and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly IaaS and PaaS
- - Hands-on experience with Azure deployment, configuration, and management
- - Proficiency in Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams administration
- - Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup strategies in Azure
- - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- - Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
