The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (8 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
The primary purpose of the Administrative Clerk Rover position is to provide on demand assistance with office programing, special projects, technical and/or management support functions to various requesting offices in the sensitive but unclassified (SBU) setting - including the Front Office, Political, Economic, Public Affairs, Consular, Management, Regional Security Office, Human Resources, Homeland Security, OPDAT, DEA, among other interagency office. Requests may be planned or on short notice for surge staffing or to cover significant staffing gaps in lieu of a direct-hire or WAE.

EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in office management/administrative work is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of office management and core administrative processes. Comfortable with computer use including email and the internet. Working knowledge of basic software packages (MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and required formats to recognize and correct such errors in correspondence, reports, and memos.

EDUCATION: Completion of High School Diploma or GED is required.
LANGUAGE: Level 3 - Good working knowledge; speaking, reading & writing. “This may be tested.”
Additional skill test may be required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/High Risk security clearance is required.
