Duties

The primary purpose of the Administrative Clerk Rover position is to provide on demand assistance with office programing, special projects, technical and/or management support functions to various requesting offices in the sensitive but unclassified (SBU) setting - including the Front Office, Political, Economic, Public Affairs, Consular, Management, Regional Security Office, Human Resources, Homeland Security, OPDAT, DEA, among other interagency office. Requests may be planned or on short notice for surge staffing or to cover significant staffing gaps in lieu of a direct-hire or WAE.

Requirements:

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen Eligible Family Member (EFM) in order to apply.


EXPERIENCE
: One year of experience in office management/administrative work is required.


JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of office management and core administrative processes. Comfortable with computer use including email and the internet. Working knowledge of basic software packages (MS Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and required formats to recognize and correct such errors in correspondence, reports, and memos.

Education Requirements:

EDUCATION: Completion of High School Diploma or GED is required.


Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Level 3 - Good working knowledge; speaking, reading & writing. “This may be tested.”


Additional skill test may be required.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/High Risk security clearance is required.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
